How to combine text and image to “scan” together

I am making some small wooden coins. I added the Santa image and text separately. My question is if there is a way to combine these two so that they process/scan at the same time. I think that would cut my time down and also save a lot of repetitive moves that my machine makes doing them separately. As it is now it lasers the image and then lasers the text separately. Santa is set to image and text is set as fill. Hopefully I explained it well. Thanks

You’d have to trace the image to get paths, and then you can make them all on the same layer, and it will engrave at once. As it is currently, it’s not possible to engrave an image and separate text at the same time.

one could also save the text and image together as a new image then engrave it.
