How to copy design to new template in the exact same place

I have hundreds of files using different template backgrounds for help aligning cuts. I have just rebuilt my machine, deep cleaned etc… and I made totally new cutting jigs. I designed a new template in lightburn to use with all my files. It’s always frustrated me however that whenever I try to move lines and shapes from one lightburn file to another that paste or import seems to pick a RANDOM location to put things. I need to be able to imports old drawings and then move them so many MM in X and so many MM in Y so that they are in the correct place on the new template. But when they pop in seemingly wherever they feel like… this makes it very difficult. In Corel I can make multiple pages or files and copy past things around and they are exactly in the same place.

Any way to “fix” lighburn to do the same?

Is your ‘Start From’ set to ‘Absolute Coords’?
