How to cut down on time for this chessboard?

Is there a way to cut down on the time to laser this chess board?

Double the speed and double the power.

Double the line interval, perhaps with a slightly defocused spot.

The basic constraint is applying enough energy to damage the surface in a suitably attractive way. Reducing the time requires either increasing the speed or enlarging the laser spot size, both of which have other effects that may not be attractive.

If you haven’t run a Material Test on that specific material, followed by either an Interval Test to find the line spacing or running the Material Test with interval variations, doing so will guide you toward a better solution.
