I am trying to get the colors inverted to engrave the red space and not the black how can I invert it to cut the opposite. Hope I’m making sense I do not want it to engrave all the black just the red. Thank you

Using “how do i invert” in the search tool, I found this one. Is this what you are wanting to accomplish?
If you want to invert a vector engraving (Fill layer) you need to add an outline to it. Think about what happens when you scan a circle, compared to the letter ‘O’. The inner ring of the O toggles the fill. If you add another shape (like a square) outside it, it negates the whole thing:
