How to trim line between existing lines

Hello everyone,
How can I trim parts of line, between a given boundaries? is it even possible in lightburn?
If not- any other possible methods to ignore the cutting line on certain “areas”?

My suggestion would be to use node editing, create a node at each end of the desired cutout, and then delete the segment.
