I ain't got time to bleed....but my print does

Hey Gang,
I’m working on a project for my wife’s office. Making ornaments using my Ender 3S1 with Creality 5w laser attached. I’m running into an issue that when I use offset fill on things, I get this “bleed” from when the laser is cutting into it. Am I missing a setting or just don’t know the right term to use here. I’ve included an image of the end result and my setting in software. THANKS!

nothing unusual here, is the normal behavior when not using air assist.

Hi Andy, you could try using masking tape before the burn, it should stop the soot…(may have to adjust ‘power’ slightly to allow for the tape)

Excellent idea! I will try that!
