I have been trying to get millmage to cut around the profile of a svg file. It only wants to cut part of the profile. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated. I am attaching the screen shots of the operation and the millmage file, as well.

I downloaded your file to take a look. How did you draw the lines? I can’t join any of them to make the perimeter of your pulley guide one continous line.
I opened your file and found [1] the small circle had 3 of them, and [2] your outline was not a closed shape. A Profile cut must be on a closed path. I could not join the lines. Your original input file is the issue.
I made a snapshot of the preview window and used that for the operation. I think I got the output you were trying for.

The part weas originally designed in freecad, i exported it as a svg.

It can be Along the Line.
Right! That is why it was doing just the arc part.
Try MillMage. Once you get used to it, you will find it is fast and easy. The only thing missing is adding dimension lines automatically.
