I can’t get my laser to connect to Lightburn
That’s a start, but it’s not much to go on.

Have you used this machine with other software, or is LightBurn the first thing you’ve tried?
-
Is LightBurn not finding the laser, or did it find / configure ok, but is just not connecting?
-
Have you followed the ‘Connecting to the laser’ guide in the docs? (here: https://lightburnsoftware.github.io/NewDocs/ConnectingToTheLaser.html)
Lightburn was working earlier with my laser now it won’t connect at all
Still not telling us much. What have you tried to diagnose this issue? Check all cables and power cords to ensure they are known good and well seated.
But beyond that, need more from you.
Do you see anything in the console window? Have you chosen a COM port, like the ‘Connecting’ doc above says?
Rick is correct - we really need you to spell things out for us, like what you’ve done, what you clicked on, what it said in response (or didn’t say) and so on. We can’t see your screen or your laser from here, so we need you to describe in as much detail as you can.
Ok all the connections are ok and I have the USB plug in and all it says is connecting and nothing happens
Do you have any other software open that might be connected to the laser? If not, try pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc (brings up the process manager). See if there are any programs running, like other dead copies of LightBurn, LaserGRBL, etc that you might use.
