I have a problem with setting my new Vevor laser engraver

I am trying to start using the laser but for example it won’t cut a normal circle and also this keeps happening: ALARM:1 Hard limit triggered. Machine position is likely lost due to sudden and immediate halt. Re-homing is highly recommended. I tried to set it up once again and checked all cables and everything seems okay. What should I do please?

Have you already check this?

How are you homing the laser?
Can you upload a picture of your cutting problem?

Hello,

Yes of course. I have tried to home the laser by setting the absolute cords as 0,0. Sometimes it works well and other times it says alarm 9-homing failed, but I tried to check all the cables and everything and the alarm 9 disappeared. But this is still happening: Alarm:3 Reset while in motion. Grbl cannot guarantee a position. Lost steps are likely. Re-homing is highly recommended. Also it won’t cut or even engrave as it is supposed to and by that I mean when I put a circle to lightburn, it will not do it, just a shaky version of it.

Now that I have tried to do anything, it said this:

Z ok

ok

[VER:1.1h.20221101:]

[OPT:VZHD0LI,254,255]

Target buffer size found

ok

Homing

ok

ALARM:1

Hard limit triggered. Machine position is likely lost due to sudden and immediate halt. Re-homing is highly recommended.

Could you please help me?
Thank you very much!

I had this same problem, and it was X axis dragging.

And how did you fix it please?

I had to move belt bracket up so it wasn’t dragging on gantry. But my machine is homemade.
If you move the laser slowly across the X axis with power off it should not bind up and should move easily.
