I have just completed a small project, but afterwards I keep getting Alarm 9 homing fail

I have just completed a small bookmark project with the name TOM and an image of some books. It came out perfectly fine. When I tried to click on the home button the laser went home but vibrated in the corner of the laser. Then when I click frame to frame the new image for me, the laser went to the top right hand corner and started vibrating again.

What am I doing wrong? I am very new to this and only had the laser a couple of months, I may have missed something.

I have done numerous projects with coasters, key rings and other materials with no issues. It only happens today. I am unable to create anymore project, please help a man in need.

Typically, that happens when the laser head / gantry doesn’t quite touch the home switches, due to a tiny mechanical misalignment or interference, and the error message confirms that’s what happened.

Those switches are (relatively) easy to find & adjust in an open-frame laser, but finding & getting to them in an iCube’s enclosed box may be challenging. The manual, as usual, gives no hints.

The iCube guide (from @misken) will help you get in there and fix that, because the cables may be too short or incorrectly secured:

Good hunting!

Remove the iCube top and see if anything is preventing the laser from reaching the switches. When I installed the Air Assist hose on mine, it took me several tries to get it right.
