Hello, I just purchased the Ometech K40+ laser machine. I’m using it with LightBurn 1.7.08 software, but to engrave the desired image, I need to mirror it in LightBurn.
I’m looking for a setting in the software so I can use the machine without having to mirror the image.
I don’t think the problem is with the machine ?

No, the problem is with the settings. Show the device settings and the full LB window including the laser window. Then we can check.
You have your Device Origin set incorrectly. This section of the LightBurn docs will explain:
If you click on Window in the tool bar, you have the option of enabling other windows.
Is generally the case. When you K40 boots, which corner does it go to? This is generally the machines origin.
Your screenshot indicates it’s the back left. Most K40s have a back/left origin, so it appears OK, but check it. Both red and green are in the upper left. Red is the origin.
Reading the manual. Did you set the parameters for LaserGRBL first? It says to use Lightburn you need to reset the settings. Page 29

This basically looks ok. Show a screenshot of the device settings window.
For a normal K40+, there is usually no need to change any firmware settings before usage. If you use the arrow buttons in move window, does it move correctly?
