I Might have burned my Shapeoko Motherboard

I was relocating my Shapeoko machine and my 7watt JTech laser attachment so I had to disconnect everything. When I connected it back I connected the cables wrong :expressionless: I connected the two similar cables in the wrong place on my laser board the black where the white one goes and the black one where the white one goes. After I did that and turned my laser on my shapeoko when besserk so I had to shut it off when I turned it back on and fixed my cables I got a message on both the carbide motion 3D app and the LightBurn software app that Homing Cycle not enable via settings and no matter what I do now I can’t get that error out I don’t know if I fried my shapeoko board can someone please help.

Did you check that homing was enabled?

Go into Carbide Motion in settings activate MDI Then enter $32=1 That fixed it for me when i had this problem. Howerver my wires were right but its worth a try.

I would try File > Preferences > load pref. back up and try one before this problem started.

Maybe your in luck and just reset the GRBL settings.
Check if you have a copy somewhere of what you changed.

How can I reset these settings

In LightBurn Console window type $RST=* press enter and wait a little then compare values.

I did this and nothing. How do I know I fried my board ?

I don’t think the board is bad, I think your settings are messed up.
Did you load a pref. back up?

Another thing to try is check the set screws on your on your motor couplers making sure there all tight.
