I need to activate Lightburn in the virtual machine

Hello, my operating system is running in vSphere Horizon. When activating LightBurn, it displays a message stating that activation is not possible within a virtual machine environment. What steps can I take to activate it.

I believe the developers do not allow this since it makes problems with the licensing.

Lightburn said so.

But our working environment is under a virtual machine.

How can I have contact with the LightBurn staff?

Here’s a link to send them an e-mail. support@lightburnsoftware.com

The only other option I know of is in License Management there is an option for an off line activation.

It could be the called routines that Lightburn uses don’t work correctly in a virtual machine. Or they don’t want it in a virtual machine.

Maybe @gilaraujo can answer this, so we all know and the reason.

I tried sending an email, but it bounced back from the system. It says server not found.

You have a typo in there. You wrote lightBRUn instead of lightBURn.

I agree with @misken —it seems like something was lost in translation. It’s LightBurn, not LightBrun.

Uh-uh-uh-uh.It’s my fault. I was careless. Thank you all.

Did you get it to work?

What was the issue?

If others find this thread, your solution is unknown.

We will lift the virtual machine restriction when asked, simply email us
