I have my lightburn camera working on lightburn bridge, and OBS on my Mac. This configuration seems to use a lot of system resources, so I’m trying to configure IP Camera driver on my Mac, that also seems to work, but even higher CPU usage. Are there any other options for a resource-friendly driver for Mac?
You are ‘streaming’ all that data and OBS is handling it. I don’t know how you could possibly get around that… I don’t think it’s related to OBS, just lots of continuous data flow.
I have the same issue with Ubuntu, it really loads the system. I have the graphic ‘system monitor’ running, I can see it load up all the cpu’s.
I think that’s just the nature of the beast.
I only have it ‘on’ when I use it… poor solution, but the only one I’ve got…
Yes, my thought was that the driver on MAC only active when Lightburn needs it, so more of an integration into Lightburn.
