Image ingraving negative / normal is always negative

I am evaluating lightburn and have some issues with images.
I try to engrave an image with dithering on my commaker B4 faser laser.
I always get negative image output.

Make sure you do not have Negative Image selected in the cut settings editor

That does no matter. I try to engrave the configuration above.
There are two pictures, one is normal, the other one is negative.
Both are done with the same layer. The output should be one normal and one negative. The simulation / preview is fine and show what i expect, but the output on the laser is always negative.

Are you sure? The blue one (C14) shows only one selected and you have a tan colored layer (C13).

Maybe it’s inverted in the cut/layer settings?

I don’t see anything else to suggest it shouldn’t work as you want.

I’d ensure they are on the same layer and only use a single layer. This would ensure they are both the same.
