I am making a Silicone LED Neon sign and I want to cut a 4.9mm channel that the light will push into. I have used the Offset tool but not working properly.
I have made tags/bridges so that the middle part does not fall through.
But How do I alter the ‘Gap’ between the lines to make it 4.9mm?
Where are you expecting the channel? Is it to go inside all the parts of the design as shown? I can’t get a sense of scale from the screenshot but what happens when you apply an offset?
It’s not clear to me what the complication is.
The only option I can see is that you have to scale all elements up to your desired 4.9mm.
The problem is that this way you have no influence on the size of the complete project.
What font are you using for it?
