Image not filling

Part of my image (letters) are not filling. When i look at blown up image the line is closed but when i create it, it is just burning two lines and not filling it up. Some letters are and some arent on the same file and i dont know why. Any ideas?

Here is a picture of thenimage and you can see the double lines in the small print

I am having the about the same problems today…. I am trying to do a logo on leatherette and using the fill, but it will not do it… If i try it on wood, it fills it… Not sure what is going on and it impossible to find the answere

Easier to get you an answer if we don’t have to drag information from you point by point.

We don’t have a crystal ball - so what are you not telling us?

How about:

What does your preview window show?

Power level

Speed

Interval setting and laser spot size?

Fill setting (Fill vs offset)

# of passes used

Focus settings

Type of wood - is it truly flat or is it warped a bit?

Did you find your settings with a material test? Show it

What have you done to address the problem? Has anything changed in the out come?

As James correctly says, without e.g. the file with the error or your settings it is impossible to guess what you are struggling with.
A quick little test shows me that there are no problems in the program right now with fill and text…

What is your source for the graphic? Is that an image (raster) or an object (vector)?

If image, what is your dither logic set to?

Max/Min power levels.

Try the file with bidirectional turned off. If that cleans it up you either have play in your machine or need to perform a scan offset adjustment.

One more opinion: It appears X travel is darker than Y travel. This would indicate it is on the borderline of enough power and not enough. X is burning better because the laser dot is smaller, and thus more intense, on that axis.

A little more power would help and I doubt you would notice a change in the X direction.
