Hi,
I’m using a Creality Falcon Pro 10w, which I’ve found very good for my amateur needs. However, I do have a problem that I don’t know how to resolve and would appreciate some advice.
The burn is perfect when using images that have little detail in them, such as outlines.
But when burning something with much more detail and with an infill, the laser starts burning small squares that gradually get bigger until the frame is just one mass of closely packed line and totally useless. Both images are SVG.
I guess there’s something I’m not doing or doing incorrectly but I don’t know what.
Any help would be appreciated.
Photos of what you are experiencing as well as a screenshot of your entire lightburn screen with the layers panel open would go a long way toward us being able to help.
Thanks for the response.
The one photo show the image that I was trying to burn. Couldn’t take a screen shot on the laptop so took this with my 'phone instead. The other image shows the result.
Well, that output is not what I was expecting to see. I can’t tell from your picture, what exactly is your c00 layer and also, what image mode are you trying to use?
I don’t think so. An SVG would not use an image mode, it would use a regular line or fill mode. Image modes are reserved for raster images.
To take a screenshot hold windows key, shift key and the letter s together and it will bring up the snipping tool.
I think part of your issue may be the offset fill mode, but I need a closer look at your project. Could you upload your .lbrn2 file for me to take a look at?
I have not opened the file yet. But from the photo, it looks like a mask was laid over a photo…but not flattened. If that is true, Right click on the photo and select FLATTEN the mask.
