I just installed the latest Cumulative Windows 11 Security Update and I am unable to use the Import Function. I can use the Open Function to open previous Lightburn Files, but there is no option to import Images or other files into Lightburn using the Import Function.
How is this presenting? Is the option grayed? Please explain how you are trying to import and what you are observing, exactly, so we can try and reproduce here. Thanks.
When I open a new copy of Lightburn, everything works as it should until I attempt to Import an image or other file. When it opens it will go to the downloads folder and as soon as I attempt to go to my Pictures Folder it will hang up. From there all I get is a Blue Spinning Icon and I then have to use CTRl+Alt+Del to end the program. From there I also have use Task Manager to Close LBFileDialog.exe by using the End Task command. I’ve tried using Window Compatibility Troubleshooter with all of the options tried with no success.
It appears that the LBFileDialog.exe command that isn’t working with Windows Explorer as it always has in the past.
That actually worked. It took me awhile as I had to open up my One Drive to find the appropriate Folder. The Import function worked perfectly after I changed the setting that you stipulated. Thanks for your help in solving this issue.
