Import multiple files in separate layers

I want to import multiple SVG files and each file should get a separate layer. If I understand correctly, layers are set based on Colors of the sources. Is there any setting to have Lightburn create a separate layer for every file on import automatically?

Short answer, no

Bernd is correct but this shouldn’t be hard to remedy.

By default, all objects from the file are selected upon import. So for each file, import, then select the layer you want them assigned to, and repeat for each file.
