Imported Image to be colour?

Hi,

Is it possible to import an image and it not be greyscale?
I have an image that is red and black so is difficult to create shapes over.
I have to swap between paint to see the line and Lightburn to figure shapes out.

Similar to how we have the T1 and T2 that aren’t burned.

Thanks

Unfortunately this isn’t possible at the moment. LightBurn internally has lots of code that assumes the image will be gray only, so keeping the color channels could break other code.

Thanks for the quick response.

I assume this is still the case, however it would be great to be able to see colours even if you have to import an image as a non editable/workable/output object. No tracing etc. The only thing I would like is to be able to rescale it, and manage layering for visibility. I can then use it much easier as an object to manually trace.
Food for thought perhaps.

PS: Ultimately I would love to be able to trace an image based on colours. At the moment I have to do all that work in GIMP. Doable, but less optimal
