In adjust images my picture looks good but the output to preview is all white square.

It does that with images since it is burning at some level over the entire area. As you zoom in the detail will start to appear.

The preview can’t tell what’s on your laser bed, material or?

It only tells you where the machine will lase.

As @thelmuth mentioned, you might find it if you zoom in. You have to learn to read the preview and understand it’s not related to material type, it’s only where you have the machine lase is what’s displayed…

You’ll get it, just give it time.

Steven, I’ve had this happen from time to time and to resolve I open the image in a photo editor and either crop or re-save and then re-import the image to lightburn project. Then check preview, the image should show, a solid black image in preview is exactly what you will get on output, a solid black square, not sure why this happens but I’ve always been able to fix by adjusting the image and then re-importing.

Steven, If you can trying saving the image in PNG format and see if that helps, for some reason JPG files give me the same results you got from time to time and I haven’t been able to figure out the “WHY” it happens.

thank you Rover100
