Integrated controller?..Snapmaker Ray

I’m interested to know the difference between a ‘Control board’ and an ‘Integrated controller’ box, such as with the Snapmaker Ray.
The only info I found on their site had the letters ‘NC’ in relation to the electronics and a search returned the meanings ‘Not Connected’ & ‘Normally Connected’.

Advertising semantics? The controller board is inside the integrated controller box.
Integrated = Laser, motors, alarm sensors, air pump, etc.
