I have a Technifor TD410 engraver with a rotary 3rd axis. I have the technical documentation which lists the full set of commands, queries, configuration settings, etc.
The system consists of an 8U rack module (the CCU) containing most of the electronics, plus the laser pump source; the engraver is an enclosed unit with the laser and attached galvo head (GSI Lumonics) mounted on a gantry which is powered tp adjust focus, a T slotted table with the rotary axis loosely mounted so that it can be positioned as required. The enclosure also incorporates lighting and the power supplies for the lights, and an interlock system.
According to the manual and the CCU’s config data, m unit has th HPGL option, however the HPGL functionality doesn’t appear to be documented, e.g. how to get the unit into a mode ready to accept an HPGL file. The interface between the CCU and the PC is RS232.
Given that the CCU contains a stack of circuit boards, including a dedicated laser driver, what is the likelihood of being able to use it with Lightbrn?
They have a T700W (proprietary) software for it. Lightburn does not support the HPGL (printer) format, but you might find GCode to HPGL conversion software so you can design with Lightburn.

Indeed, unfortunately Gravotech can only find a copy of V3.2 which had already dropped support for the TD410.
That raises the question, “Is it going to me worth the time, trouble, and expense to get it running?” The Google returned some interesting details about that model, but without seeing the machine, my opinion would be worthless.
In any case, good luck with it.
