Internet connection problem when checking for updates

I’m having a problem checking for updates. I have the latest version 1.3.01 and have 328 days left on my licence and my internet connection is fine for everything else, including updates for other programs I have installed and Windows 10 Updates. But when I click “Check for Updates” on the Help menu in Lightburn I get a refused connection error.

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version from the download section but still have the same problem. I’ve also scanned my PC for malware, virus’s etc and found nothing. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
