I am trying to figure out how to invert the way the fill option has decided to engrave an object. Instead of the circle and exclamation point being filled I just want them the outline of the triangle, circle and exclamation point to be engraved, just like the text is. I understand that I can use the line feature for that but I am really after a bolder outline than what that produces. I played with the zoffset to “blur” the line to achieve this but it does not create the crisp shapes I am after. Any help is appreciated! I created the shapes themselves in fusion 360 and exported it as an SVG file to use in Lightburn.
The fill option doesn’t just “decide” to engrave inside or outside, it all depends how you set up your lines.
If you’re going for a bolder line then use offset on your existing line.
You may need to create a couple offsets to invert the direction of your fill to taste.
I ended up just creating outlines in my original SVG of the triangle and circle to achieve my goal boldness. Jumped the gun on the forum post but appreciate the help!
