I was having issues using Boolean functions to weld shapes so I tried using the Delete Duplicates in the edit menu and the pop up message said there wasn’t any. After about 20 minutes fenagling with the shapes I found that one of them did have a duplicate. I deleted it and the Boolean tools worked as intended.
Is this a known issue? I searched the posts and didn’t come across anything, Does anyone else have this problem?
I am unaware of reports of ‘Delete Duplicates’ not working as expected with the 1.6.03 release, so thank you for drawing our attention to this. Please provide details as to what you observed with the intent to help us reproduce this behavior here. Share a project file where you see this consistently failing would be ideal.
Thanks for the reply.
I found the reason why it wouldn’t detect the duplicate. I had done 2 traces of a png file, one tracing the transparency and the second trace with the transparency switch off. I always make sure each trace is put on a different layer but somehow I inadvertently switched that one shape over onto the layer I was working with.
