Is Flood Fill available in Version 1.0.02?

I just learned about Flood Fill and want to give it a try. I have had no problems with LB 1.0.02 so have not felt a “burning” need to upgrade it. I cannot find Flood Fill and suspect it is not available in this version. Can someone confirm this for me, please?

This is what I see in the Cut Settings Editor.

Flood Fill is not an option for an Image? Please explain what you are wanting to accomplish, and we might have some suggested workflows that could help.

Wow! I appreciate your quick response.
That must be it. I just drew a couple of circles and selected Fill and Fill+Line and see that option available.

Is there a way to get this same result for an Image? A lot of my projects so far have been using images. Is there a good way to convert them so I can use the Flood Fill?

Rick, I just saw a YT video about Flood Fill and wanted to investigate it. Thanks for your help already.
I looked for a LB YT video hoping you guys would have already addressed it. Would you guys consider that? The LB videos are terrific and any non-LB videos have to be taken with a grain of salt. You guys are the authority so we would trust your information 10-to-1 over anyone else’s.

Show us what the images look like, we may have some suggestions.

Originally I had the text as an image and this was all on one layer (1:26:19 run time):

I just now did a trace on the text so I could use the Fill+Line for the text (Fill all shapes at once, Flood Fill, 1:12:50, without Flood Fill 1:24:32). With Flood Fill, all shapes at once, 90 degree scan 1:11:07.

I’m learning that the 90 degree scan angle could be one of the biggest time savers I have overlooked in general.

As you requested, the image is shown. Due to it’s shading I don’t know how to treat it. Trace Image would not give me a good result.

I am open to and grateful for any advice you can offer.

Yes, I would try to reproduce the text to save on production time. Looking at the remaining elements, flood fill would not help much, even if it was available for images. It is intended to help with open areas, like the center part of a picture frame. This grab image does not have a lot of open, traversal area. You can also reduce the ‘Line Interval’ to speed production.

Good info. Thanks!
