For example: trying to fill a closed vector with a bunch of little trees to indicate a forest…or a bunch of little waves to indicate water. Something similar to the “bucket fill” in photoshop or gimp.
If it’s a closed object, fill should work.
No such “bucket fill” as you describe. You could use the array tool to build a fill pattern to your liking and save that pattern to the Art Library for later use. When you want to fill a shape, drag a copy out of the library and drop over your desired shape. Then use ‘Cut Shapes’ to clip away the undesired fill.
