Anyway to place markers on the grid where I click to use as general visual reference points? Can’t seem to figure it out
Sounds like “guides” or “guide lines”. Now available in public beta 1.5. Drag in from edge of grid just like in Gimp.
Otherwise, trace lines or objects (cross) where you want them, assign them a tool layer (or one without output) and perhaps lock them to avoid them being selected / moved.
I understand the new guides are made this way (just easier to do).
