Issue connecting via USB?

I was wondering if someone could walk me through connecting to my Ramps 1.4 board via USB. I’ve got it plugged in and it seems to connect - the board reboots and the LCD redisplays the boot logo. However, when I go to do anything, lightburn gets stuck on “Busy” under the laser window, usually at 78%.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? Is there a driver or anything that I might be missing?

Can you be more specific? What do you mean when you say, “when I do anything”? Have you tried running a simple square? Have you used the board with other software before or is this your first attempt? Do you see output in the console? Is the baud rate setting in the device settings correct?
