Issue sending code to machine

Hi
I’ve been using lightburn with my old pc with no problems. However I have now got a new pc using lightburn working with the same machine but now I’m having problems when sending code.

The machine starts, mable moves two or three times, stops and then I get the following message:

G-code words consist of a letter and a value. Letter was not found.
On or near line 28:
Job halted
Stream completed in 0:00
error:2
Numeric value format is not valid or missing an expected value.
ok

How can I over come this? Thanks in advance

That is some kind of communication error. I would check to make sure the USB connection is solid, not loose. Did anything else change? Are you using anything different to connect to the laser at all, like a hub or anything else? Check that the cable isn’t too long - USB is only rated for 16 feet total.
