Are you working on a fix for 2.101. had to remove it or down grade so I can work
That is really vague. Can you list what is broke so someone can investigate?

No laser power (is a little stronger than framing), and speed set not working properly.
Check your Settings. Design units and control units are now linked. But you have the option to unlink in case you want to design in inches and run in mm/m, or similar.
Did you run the test using mm/m to see what it looked like compared to your second image?
Did you load a .lbprefs file dated before the update into v2.1.01 to see if that made a difference?

Could you confirm if your Xtool is using GRBL or the Xtool flavored device?
