I’m trying to engrave lettering and then create a perforation around the letters. While this may seem like an odd thing to do, I have a good use-case for it.
I’ve got two operation tabs: 1 to fill and then the 2nd to perform a perforated line.
If I do the fill first and then the line, the perforation function is ignored and it’s merely a line.
If I do the perforated line first and then the fill, the operation works exactly as expected.
I’m using a ruida controller on my omtech 55w laser using Lightburn 1.2.01 on a Windows 10 PC. This is the first time I’ve tried using perforate, so I’m not sure how long the bug has been around.
I’ve supplied a test file if you’d like to see exactly what I’m seeing.
