Recently, we changed the galvo, and now I’m experiencing an issue with achieving a perfect engraving. As you can see in the attached image, the top corner and right corner are being engraved much more heavily compared to the rest of the area.
Does anyone have suggestions on what could be causing this problem? Additionally, are there specific settings or parts I should check or adjust to resolve this?
This is an alignment issue after swapping the galvo. The laser is probably hitting certain areas harder than others.
Check your focus to make sure it’s perfectly level.
Run a square test to see if the engraving power is consistent.
Double-check the lens and make sure everything is aligned properly.
Once you get the alignment right, it should even out the engraving.
