Hello, I am currently using a macbook pro running Big Sur and I when I click on the program from my applications folder, I get this error. “LightBurn can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.”

This message from the OS is annoying. Urg. Follow the steps below to resolve.
MacOS Installation
Double-click the LightBurn.dmg file to mount the disk image.
Drag the LightBurn application into your applications folder
Eject the LightBurn disk image, or drag it to the trash bin
Please note that at this time, LightBurn for MacOS is not digitally signed. This means that you will need to tell MacOS that you trust us. (Read about this here: Open a Mac app from an unidentified developer - Apple Support )
To launch LightBurn for the first time:
Open a Finder window
Browse …
