My CO2…. It’s a drag getting old… Anyhoooo,

I’m wanting to at the very least get my CO2 running with the rotary in it like I used to a year or so ago, before I bought my fiber.

The rotary initializes fine when I start the laser. I have rotary enabled in LB too.

All it want’s to do is engrave a line. The cup doesn’t move. The cup does move when the machine is turned on, it just doesn’t spin when the engraving actually starts…I’m just trying to engrave a 6mm square for a test..

What did I miss?

AFAICT:

  • The layer is set to Fill (because the Line Interval field is active), but a line isn’t a closed shape that can be filled.
  • After one scan across X, the controller calls it a day.

Now, if that’s a teeny little square in the teeny little selection, the answer may be different, but …

I “think” I have it… My step count was way off.
It’s pretty much on the money now… I’ve documented my settings now.
