Another Lightburn user posted a DXF for a Jewelry Box. I saw it needed some work to be a workable .lbrn2 file, so I gave it a try and posted the result.
The more I looked at it, the more I realized I have an application for it. Granddaughter birthday coming up. So I made adjustments for my laser and cranked one out.
Beside the design grid is a section of a Tab and matching Hole. I used that on scrap wood to find the best Kerf setting. You should use this to determine the best kerf setting for your machine.
The rest of the Lightburn settings are pretty self evident. My run was about 15 minutes for the box and 3 minutes for the text (which I thought of after cutting it all out 
). It went together easily and quickly, and a little red hot melt to secure the corners.. Added a felt bottom and it was done. I spent more time doctoring the design than I did makeing the box from start to finish. The image is how it turned out. The .lbrn file is included in case you need a present for someone in a hurry.
