I have cancelled a job a couple of times to make changes, re homed the machine, and started the job over. The job time to finish now says multiple of hours to finish when it should only be a few minutes. Is there a way to reset the job time so it reads correct for the job ? It has been working properly up to this point.
Cancelling a job does not affect the estimated run time. The estimated time is recomputed at the start of every run.
But making changes can. What did you change?
Just the power percentage
That should make no difference. These all have a major impact on the estimated burn time, so double check your settings:
- LPI or Scan Interval
- Line, Fill, or Offset Fill
- mm/s or mm/m
- Speed setting
- Number of passes
- But not Laser Power
