I have a k40 with cohesion3 laserboard. When i select grayscale in lightburn it allows me to set min and max % power, but after i select ok and that window closes i can see the cut window and the min% power setting is grayed out. The engraving looks like its all done on the max power. What would be causing this.

It’s worth mentioning that grayscale engraving with a CO2 system tends to produce variable depth, not variable darkness, because they vaporize material quickly. Grayscale shaded pictures are possible, but it takes a decent amount of trial and error to find the correct settings.
