Keeps burning random shape?

Hi
New to Lightburn.
Trying to engrave art I imported from Illustrator. It engraves most of the image and then starts burning this shape that is not part of the art? Even the outline image on Lightburn does not show this mysterious shape?
(btw this art is a markup so QR code is fakie)…
See below images

Here is art file:

the file is missing

Sorry, I am using illustrator and it’s not letting me add file.
Basically I copied and pasted art into lightburn. Even in Lightburn, it did not show extra marks…Could it be that there are open parts in the art?

no I do not think so, try sending your LightBurn file itself

So i figured out how to burn without that shape mysteriously showing up(i think it was from an open shape in illustrator.
Now I’m having an issue with the laser continuing to burn the the art, and filling in too much. See top right of QR code. Im new to Lightburn and I figure one thing out and then something else weird happens…which I’m sure its something I am doing wrong!
ANy help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thank you!!

You have two layers, that are mostly copies of each other:

The most common reason for this is importing “white paint” from Illustrator, where you’ve painted over a shape and set it to fill in white. Hold the Shift key and click the light-pink layer, then click the ‘Delete’ icon to remove all those shapes. You don’t need them in your file.
