It seems for some or other reason that my kerf settings has no influence on my cutting any longer. I have cut a 50 mm block with 0.2mm inward, 0.2mm outward and no kerf and measuring the three blocks with a very accurate vernier their sizes are exactly the same. I have rolled from 1.0.04 to version 1.0.0 and still no difference. Any suggestions?
Make sure the shape is closed, Edit : close path

Neil is almost certainly correct - if the shapes are not closed loops, they would not have an “inside / outside” and cannot be offset properly.
