Just got my new kh7050 laser, already ordered upgrade for the airassist 
Any other uograde i should do?
Can anyone tell me if ita possible to setup an old airport express as brigde, to get the controller on the wireless network?

The upgrade list is long a varied. What are you doing that needs something special to be upgraded?
I wanted a more lightweight head assembly, so I changed the head out.
I used a $12 t-link wireless bridge and ran that way until the Lightburn PI bridge made it’s appearance.
If you can configure yours as a bridge it should work.
I had a PI, so I just downloaded the Lightburn PI image, wrote it to an sd card and I was on-line. The PI bridge has a software layer to deal with the UDP communications issue of the Ruida…
The PI bridge uses the original machine address of 10.0.3.3. My first bridge just put the address on my local lan, so it had to be changed to the same domain.
