I updated software and now I use the Kraft machine and I get a beep every 20 or so seconds and a message
Message check USB lock
I never had this issue before with previous updates, I assume I have to switch it off somewhere, any help appreciated.
Could be the DTR switch got changed.
ok thanks I’ll look into that, I’ve not touched settings so maybe its been added to the update. Ive Just checked and its turned off but still getting beep.
Just figured it out.
What I thought was a USB Dongle that plugs in the side is the USB Lock. It’s been plugged in since the day I got it and the connection has started to tarnish or degrade. I took it out pushed it in and out a few times and that sorted it. Maybe a bit of contact cleaner as well will help
It has been a long time since I saw a dongle used as a security key.
Security dongles are classic.
I suspect that if its a bulkhead socket, that’s probably just a cable leading to a controller inside and you might plausibly be able to put the USB stick directly into the controller. A photo of the electronics bay would help!
