Laser cut width compensation

Hello,

Is there a setting in LightBurn to compensate for the cut width of the laser beam? For example, I’m cutting a dovetail joint in 1/8” plywood for joining two pieces together. The cut is a little loose for my liking and I want a tighter fitting joint. If a compensation feature is not available, Is there another method that may work?

Yes. Check out “kerf” settings. It’s explained in the LB documentation and many YouTube videos :slight_smile:
