Laser does not shut off in cut

I have the jtech 4.8w laser on my shapeoko and if it is just set to cut for lettering the laser doesn’t shut off when moving to next letter leaving lines all over work piece

If you have a GRBL device, and your laser is still on when moving between shapes, like this: [image] It most likely means you are using GRBL 1.1f or later, but do not have the controller in Laser Mode.
