hi people, I built a 50w co2 laser with mks sbase, if I load a dxf (photo 1) lightburn does not turn off the laser when moving, while loading a gcode with the same design (photo 2) it does it well, can you tell me why? i tried with smoothieware and grbl-lpc firmware
What did you use to generate the g-code?
Normally what you’re describing is caused when GRBL machines are not in “laser mode”. $32=1 in GRBL.
However, you’re saying this also occurred in Smoothieware so you’d need to have the same situation in both so not certain if this is the solution.
What device type have you configured in LB for your laser?
