I’m new to all of this so I’m not sure if it’s a problem with my laser or if Im doing something wrong with light burn. When I try to burn something no mater if it’s text or a shape the laser only burns in a single line. Thanks for any help in advance
That sounds like something to do with the Y axis motor.
- Motor isn’t plugged in
- Connector is loose
- Motor pinion is not secured to the motor
- Something else along these lines
It also could be related to settings. If you are trying to Fill a shape, the laser does move back and forth across the shape, and slowly moves along the Y axis. If you set the “interval” value to something very small, like 0.01mm instead of 0.1mm, it would take a long time for the Y to move a noticeable amount, so check that as well.
