Laser doesn't start homing

Hi guys,

I recently bought a Feungsake laser cutter frame for a project that I am working on. I built the frame and found out that there were no limit switches installed. I orderded some extra Sculpfun limit switches and installed those as can be seen in the photo.

The problem I am having is, that homing isn’t working. For some reason, the stepper motors engage, but the machine doesn’t start moving. I did some research, but it seems like the limit switches are working correctly (I checked this using the status while pressing them in Lightburn), so that isn’t the problem.

I think it might have to do with the fact that the control board first tries to home the z-axis, but that is not connected. What should I do to make everything work?

Type $$ (press enter) on Lightburn console window then copy/paste here the output.
Maybe you can create a macro to home just X and Y.
Also check if you can update your board to 1.1h (but with XYZ Home enabled).

Thanks for the suggestion! For some reason I yesterday completely missed the option to home using $HX and $HY. Now the homing is working correctly using these commands. Thanks for the help.
