Laser fades towards right side of machine and does not etch

ok i have a template set up to etch 20 glasses at a time spaced out in a 4x5 grid i have run over 1500 glasses and all has been pretty much well. but i started a new batch yesterday after not using the machine for a week or two and the last glass on each row wont etch or partially etches ruining the glass. i can see the laser power becoming weaker as it moves to right across the rows of glasses its set to runn across the whole row of 5 glasses and moves to the next row on all the rows the right side power becomes less strong and as i mentioned that far right glass either does not have the power to make an etch or its so faint that it only partially etches very faintly on some passes the hieght of the board is equal so thats fine and again it seems that the power is just dropping off to nothing as iy moves to the right? any help would be appreciated. thanks!!

Sounds like dirty optics… Have you checked them?

Don’t know how the head is moving, image or vector cuts…

The other thing that may cause that is if you’re expecting higher power at below the ‘start speed’. In that case you only get minimum power.

If you are scanning, like a fill the Ruida should be able to handle the overrun.

Check the optics…

Mirror alignment?

Yep, probably something on the X axes… inclusive of m2

Didn’t think I had to mention they need to be properly aligned.

that Ok I cleaned the optics checked the alignment of the laser which was good, water is pumping and air assist on I don’t know what m2 is? Here are some images. It’s that last Glass on the right in each row that partially etched or not at all

Any other help would be appreciated all was fine for several runs even after update then didn’t use it for a few weeks and

i left a bunch of images and explained what i did to try and fix my problem. i really appreciate your response. i dont understand what m2 is?

M2 is for ‘mirror 2’ or the one that runs the Y direction on the gantry, m3 is the mirror on the head… Sorry about that…
